Allah highlights in the Quran that the failure of mankind is due to the weak determination which is a result of forgetfulness.
“And We had already taken a promise from Adam before, but he forgot; and We found not in him determination.”
Humans turn to Allah in difficulty and distress and bring Tawheed into action with sincerity, but as soon as the difficulty is removed from their life, the humans are just as quick in forgetting Allah and immerse once more in delusion and disbelief.
It is easy to follow one’s desires, it takes courage and determination to keep the soul on track, and we can do that by reminding ourselves of the forgotten message by reciting the Quran and implementing its verses- or what is known as learning and seeking knowledge.
Ask Allah to aid you in this task and He will open the doors of knowledge for you.
“So high [above all] is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth. And, [O Muhammad], do not hasten with [recitation of] the Qur’an before its revelation is completed to you, and say, “My Lord, increase me in knowledge.”
Start today, start now.
Excellent post. Appreciate the effort in to bringing this to light.
