SFN.. Falah – فلاح
Being prosperous for a believer means attaining the pleasure of our Lord and striving towards excellence. The ultimate goal of this life for the believer is to stand as a champion who has overcome the struggles and trials with patience and shows gratitude for the countless blessings of His Lord.
The main key of prosperity is believing in Allah, the One, and striving for His pleasure. The other two keys are worshiping Him and being content with His decree and all that Allah has given us in this life.
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ارْكَعُوا وَاسْجُدُوا وَاعْبُدُوا رَبَّكُمْ وَافْعَلُوا الْخَيْرَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
سورة الحج ٧٧
“O you who have believed, bow and prostrate and worship your Lord and do good – that you may succeed.”
Surah Al Hajj 77
Worshiping Allah includes submitting to and accepting His decree.
The real test is to show gratitude even when He changes our condition where we feel discomfort or pain – the discomfort and pain are there to help us change direction and are not to be adopted as a lifestyle.
Once we have these three keys of prosperity with us in this life, it’ll be lead to the ultimate success which is where we need to get before the end of our lives.
