How many times do you need to be told that God is close to you before your heart is reassured? His words, “Surely, I am near” are preserved for eternity. So when your heart quivers with uncertainty look no further than His Book. You can read it a million times and still find Him telling you, “Surely, I am near.”
وَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِي عَنِّي فَإِنِّي قَرِيبٌ أُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَانِ فَلْيَسْتَجِيبُوا لِي وَلْيُؤْمِنُوا بِي لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْشُدُونَ

“And when My servants ask you, concerning Me – Surely, I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me and believe in Me that they may be guided.”
