If Allah empties your hands and takes something you want to cling onto from you, trust Him that He will replace it with that which is the best for you.
A beautiful gift was given to me recently which brought great joy to my heart.
And then Allah emptied my hands of it.
It hurt for a bit but I knew it was the right thing to do so I just let it go, only to walk a few steps ahead and be surprised with an even better gift from Him.
Allah didn’t empty my hands to cause me heartache – He emptied them so that I can hold onto the best – Him.
