Nothing ever works out as per our plans or desires. We are tested at every turn, after every choice we make and every encounter. Grateful for the trials that humbled me over the years and deepened my understanding, and everything that remind me of Allah’s absolute control and my own limitations. A reminder to always submit to Him with an awareness that He has the best plans for me and everything around me. His deprivation for me was for my protection. He allowed me to experience pain and discomfort only to allow me to grow and seek Him. Life is tough but as a believer it just makes everything worth it. This life was never meant to be permanent, and it won’t be, neither will be the people and our circumstances here.
Ya Rabb, allow us to internalize this.
