As a reciter and student of Quran..
Understand what your strengths are and work with them. Whether it is waking up earlier than others and having more time for revision, or sharper focus when listening to Quran for hifdh, use your strengths to your advantage here.
Also understand what your weaknesses are and use trial and error to improve yourself here.
You can achieve your goals if you set and measure them. Look at those who have succeeded before you with their hifdh and revision.
Hold yourself accountable and increase your daily portion of tilawah. This will take you out of your comfort zone and build better daily habits.
Take baby steps and recite everyday as Allah loves those who are consistent with their efforts, no matter how small.
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“Take up good deeds only as much as you are able, for the best deeds are those done regularly even if they are few.”
-Sunan ibn Majah
