One hadith to motivate and raise your spirits while memorising Quran is the one where the noble Messenger of Allah ﷺ foretold how the parents of the guardians of the Quran will be honoured, crowned and elevated because of the efforts of their child or children to preserve the Quran in recitation and memorisation.
Mu’adh al-Juhani reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever recites the Quran and acts according to what is in it, his parents will be crowned on the Day of Resurrection with a light brighter than the light of the sun in your worldly houses, were it among you. So.. What do you think of one who acts upon this?” – Sunan Ibn Majah
Set good goals for yourself, focus with intent and look forward to completing your journey with the Quran.
