سورة البينة
Period of Revelation:
In Madinah, after Surah at Talaq.

Purpose of Revelation:

To set the record straight about the Final Messenger and the Final Revelation.

Reflection:
Come back to Quran and Sunnah.
Tawheed is the most important pillar of Islam.
Tawheed is following by performance of Salah – it is the right of Allah upon us.
Salah is followed by giving zakah – it is the right of creation upon us.

Call to Action:
Be sincere in worshipping Allah.
Steer clear of Shirk.

سورة القدر
Period of Revelation:
In Makkah, after Surah Abasa.

Purpose of Revelation:
To show the virtues and importance of this night.

Reflection:
It is a blessed night.
We need to train and prepare for it properly.

Call to Action:
Move offline and connect with Allah.
Pray with your heart engaged in the prayers.

سورة العلق
Period of Revelation:
In Makkah, 13 years before Hijrah. The first revelation.

Purpose of Revelation:
First verse revealed to bring down the Final Revelation.

Reflection:
Stats with فعل أمر – a verbal command- of reciting, reading and proclaiming.
Importance of learning and seeking knowledge in Islam.
Warning to those who stop others from praying.
Allah is watchful over everything.

Call to Action:
Recite more.
Read more.
Pray better.
Thank Allah and ask Him for beneficial knowledge.

سورة التين
Period of Revelation:
In Makkah, after Surah Al Burooj.

Purpose of Revelation:
To show the virtues of blessed lands and believers.

Reflection:
Faith in action and righteous deeds elevate a person and make him honourable in the sight of his Lord.

Call to Action:
Submit to the commands of Allah properly.

سورة الشرح
Period of Revelation:
In Makkah, after Surah Ad Dhuha.

Purpose of Revelation:
To show the blessings upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

Reflection:
Allah has blessed His Messenger ﷺ.
Things will eventually be made easy.

Call to Action:
Fill your free time with the remembrance of Allah.
Be patient.
