Allah may have stored immense blessings hidden in the realms of Unseen for you which would empower and provide for you exceeding your hopes and dreams, but perhaps if they were to be given to you at this moment, you’d lose the sight of your Lord and get busy with the worldly dreams and treasures. So, Allah, out of His love and mercy for you, will prepare you for it by testing you until you rise up in faith and submit to Him in a patient state of gratitude, and have a stronger faith that will shield you from becoming disillusioned with this world.
The trials of this life are meant to prepare you for the good both in this world and the next and will increase you in faith and certainty so that you attain the best of both worlds.
وَعَسَىٰ أَن تَكْرَهُوا شَيْئًا وَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ ۖ وَعَسَىٰ أَن تُحِبُّوا شَيْئًا وَهُوَ شَرٌّ لَّكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
“It could be that you dislike something, when it is good for you; and it could be that you like something when it is bad for you. Allah knows, and you do not know.”
